In this class we will explore flying geese. The flying geese unit is found in all kinds of quilt blocks and being able to accurately create this unit will level up your quilting.

Skill Details: If you enjoy to art of quilting and want to explore several ways to create flying geese units, all while creating a fun table topper, then this is the class for you.
Materials Included: Cutting mats and pressing tools will be available in the classroom.
Requirements: 1 yard of background fabric. This includes the 2? border A variety of scraps for the geese. For this class select 6-8 fat quarters. This will give you plenty of fabric to explore the different methods. 5 or 6 inch square ruler Scissors Coordinating thread Sewing machine Rotary cutter Optional Half and Quarter Square triangle tool like the Fons and Porter Half and Quarter tool Simple Folder Corner Ruler Creative Grids Flying Geese ruler
Instructor: Jodi Richards
Instructor Bio: Jodi has been quilting nearly as long as she has been alive. She was taught the craft by her great-grandmother and her mom. She creates accessible designs that beginners can accomplish successfully.
